Sobre la Dra. Acosta 

Dailyn Acosta, PhD

Soy una psicóloga licenciada, autorizada para ejercer por telepsicología en 42 estados a través del Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), y cuento con una ubicación presencial en Texas. Obtuve mi doctorado en Psicología Clínica en la University of Texas Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences y completé una beca posdoctoral en el Departamento de Psiquiatría de la University of Colorado School of Medicine. Además, tengo una maestría en Literaturas Ibéricas y Latinoamericanas y una licenciatura en Ciencias Políticas de la University of Notre Dame.

Mi formación y experiencia abarcan la psicología clínica y de la salud, entornos forenses y roles académicos en instituciones médicas y de investigación, incluyendo mi trabajo como psicóloga en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de Children’s Health Dallas y cargos académicos en la University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He contribuido al campo mediante presentaciones en conferencias internacionales, nacionales y regionales, publicaciones en revistas académicas revisadas por pares, coautoría de capítulos de libros de texto y financiamiento de investigaciones a través de becas.
